Army Instructors Receive Bouquets after Successful Leadership Skill Training

Sri Lanka Army instructors, overcoming challenges that surrounded Ministry of Higher Education-initiated first-ever ‘Leadership Skill Training Programme for University Entrants” facilitated by the Army, successfully completed their tasks and roles in more than 18 island-wide Army Training Schools.

More than 8000 smiling students after completion of their two-week training left Army Training Centres at Maduruoya, Minneriya, Ampara, Panagoda, Diyatalawa, Trincomalee, Kalattewa, Embilipitiya, Buwelikada, Boossa, Galayaya, Tisawewa, Dombagoda, Gannoruwa, Giritale and Kuttigala under the first phase of the project.

In an unprecedented move, a group of those trainees after completion of their stay at Boossa camp, returned there once again and threw a special treat to the board of Army instructors as a token of appreciation of their commitment to the benefit of university entrants. They showed their artistic and musical talents before the instructors and whole-heartedly thanked them for guidance and instructions imparted to them.

Following photos would speak louder and tell us how the training sessions took place in different locations. Their facial expressions testify to those sentiments.
