As a continuation of the ongoing social welfare projects being implemented by the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on the directions of Major General Kumudu Perera, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni in collaboration with ‘Vision Care Optical Pvt Ltd’ launched a mega eye clinic plus a programme to donate spectacles to needy people in the Wanni region.
Over 300 civilians in Vavuniya and suburbs were benefited as a result of this charity event organized at the SFHQ-W auditorium throughout the day on Wednesday (29).
This social service project was coordinated by the Civil Affairs Office of the SFHQ-W. It was graced by the Brigadier Administration and Quartering Colonel Indu Samarakoon as the Chief Guest together with ‘Vision Care’ representatives.
