The government sector Inter Institute Elle Tournament - 2022 was held at the Ampara District public ground from 23 January 2022 to 25 January 2022 with the participation of twenty teams, including the Sri Lanka Army Elle team.
Sri Lanka Army Elle Team and Ja- Ela Pradeshiya Saba team were qualified for the final match. Players in the Sri Lanka Army Elle Team won the Trophy-2022 after beating the rival team. Lance Corporal K.K.J Kumara was meanwhile adjudged the Best Fielder during the tournament.
