Army Cricket Team effectively beat the Tamil Union Cricket Team by 2 wickets in the Premier Limited Overs Cricket Tournament, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket Association at Army Cricket Grounds, Panagoda on Sunday (14).
During the match, excellent performances shown by the National Cricketer, Staff Sergeant Sekkuge Prasanna exhibited his skills by capturing 3 wickets for 20 runs. Meanwhile, Lieutenant B.A.W Mendis and Bombardier L.P.N.K Liyanapathirana assisted the Army team to win.
Army cricketers will be played next match against Colombo Cricket Club (CCC) at Army Cricket Grounds, Panagoda on Tuesday (16).
