Army Cricketers Win Against Badureliya Cricketers

Army Cricket Team effectively beat the Badureliya Cricket Team in the 1st innings in the Premier League Super Eight Cricket Tournament, conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket Association (SLCA) at Nondescripts Cricket Club (NCC) Colombo on Sunday (22).

During the match, excellent performance was shown by skipper Bombardier D.G.A.S Gunarathne scoring 122 runs in the 1st innings and 53 runs in the 2nd innings. Meanwhile, Bombardier L.P.N.K Liyanapathirana took 5 wickets for 94 runs in the 1st innings.

Army cricketers will play the next match against Bloomfield Cricket Club at Moors Grounds, Colombo on March 26 – 29.
