Army Cricketers Do It Again

Army cricketers showed their colours once again beating Colombo Cricket Club by 114 runs in the three-day long  Premier League Tier ‘B’ cricket match conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket.

The match at CCC grounds at Colombo between 16-18 March made Army cricketers win 7 outrights out of their 9 matches since the Army offered a tough tussle throughout the match.

Corporal Manjula Zoysa and Sergeant Sekkuge Prasanna captained the Army team. Both of them have captured 50 wickets in five matches.

The Army Cricket Club won by 114 runs and carried away the Premier League Tier ‘B’ Cricket Tournament Championship after scoring 135 points.
