Army Corporal Declared National Winner in Archery

The National Archery Championship Tournament - 2021, held during 21-23 December at Isuru Devapriya ground at Kotte with the participation of 8 teams awarded four Gold medals and one Silver medal to Army archers.

Gold medals were won by Army archers in the Compound (4 times) and 70 M team (thrice) categories. This was the first time the Compound Team event was introduced to the tournament.

The archer, Corporal A.A.S Wasantha Kumara was declared the national winner in the tournament and carried the championship trophy.
