Christmas Carols, organized by 11 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) at Kandy St Anthony’s Church on Wednesday (18), drew a huge crowd.
Many Kandy-based school choirs joined hands together with the Army choirs to sing hymns and odes to the Prince of Peace.
Rev. Dr Joseph Viyani Fernando, Archbishop, Kandy, Major General U.A.B Medawela, Commander, (SFHQ-C), senior Army officers government officials, university dons and a large gathering, witnessed the event, designed to promote harmony and co-existence among all ethnicities.
