Army Camp in Sengamuwa Gets a Tube Well for Drinking Water

Troops of 23 Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment (SLSR) at Sengamuwa as a part of ongoing construction of tube wells for drinking water, recently received a tube well to the premises, following the patronage extended by Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management.

A brief ceremony held at the venue opened the new tube well for the use of soldiers serving the area.

Hon. VijithaWijayamuni Soyza was present to inaugurate the tube well. General Officer Commanding of 24 Division, 242 Brigade Commander, OIC of Siyambalanduwa Police Station, Officials of Water Board, Commanding Officer of 23 SLSR along with the Officers and Other Ranks attended to the occasion.
