A blood donation campaign was organised by the Army Base Hospital, Palaly, in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the Teaching Hospital, Jaffna on 26 September 2024. The event took place under the direction of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna), in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.
A total of 144 Officers and Other Ranks from the Sri Lanka Army generously donated blood during this programme.
