Another BSW Other Ranks Course Concludes at ITC

Battalion Support Weapons Course - 99 (2024/I) conducted for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers recently concluded during a simple ceremony on 03 May 2024 at the Infantry Training Centre (ITC), Minneriya.

This course, which commenced on 11 January 2024, spanned several months of training, culminating in its completion on 03 May 2024. A total of 41 Other Ranks participated in this course. Major General W.B.J.K Wimalarathna RWP RSP, delivered the closing remarks, imparting invaluable insights and encouragement to the participants as the Chief Guest of the occasion.

Senior Officers, Officers and Instructors were also present during the ceremony. The following individuals were specially commended for their exceptional performances during the course:

1st Place - Corporal M.P.I.K Jayarathne of Special Forces

2nd Place - Corporal S.B.S Ediriweera of Gemunu Watch

3rd Place – Sergeant K.A Sandaruwan RSP of Special Forces
