The annual festival at Veeramanikkathevanthurai Sri Kanngathevi temple of Myliddy was held on Tuesday (30) with attendance of a large number of Hindu devotees in the area.
Troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J), together with temple authorities organized this ceremony and facilitated the movement of devotees in to the area since it is situated in the High Security Zone.
Troops of the SFHQ - J provided all devotees with transport, drinking water medical and sanitary facilities and refreshment throughout the day.
