To coincide with the third anniversary of the 574 Brigade Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), troops constructed a new Buddhist shrine in their Headquarters premises on Sunday (2) and ceremonially opened it for offerings and observances.
The shrine, sanctified with the planting of a Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi sapling was constructed with financial contribution and the manpower of all officers and other ranks of 3 Gajaba Regiment (GR) and 13 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) serving 574 Brigade.
574 Brigade Commander attended the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest. Senior officers, officers and other ranks of 574 Brigade were also associated with the opening.
