Angampora Training Programme Successfully Conducted by 59 Infantry Division

Under the guidance of Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander of Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni), and the direction of Major General D.R.N Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of the 59 Infantry Division, the 593 Infantry Brigade successfully organised an Angampora training programme at the 6th Battalion, the Gemunu Watch. The programme taking place from 20th January 2025 to 02nd February 2025, with the participation of 70 soldiers.

This intensive training programme was conducted through the collective efforts and expertise of 15 skilled instructors from the Army Angampora team, who provided comprehensive training to enhance the soldiers' physical and mental resilience, combat techniques, and discipline.
