The Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) in order to promote goodwill and better relations among all members of the staff, including civil employees, organized a light football tournament at Iranamadu, Kilinochchi grounds on Sunday (31).
The full-day tournament, competed by 21 football teams, representing all formations in the SFHQ-KLN, selected 3rd Battalion Gajaba Regiment and 7th Battalion Gajaba Regiment teams for the final tussle. Finally 3rd Battalion Gajaba Regiment team emerged victorious after close encounters.
A large gathering of officers, other ranks and civil employees took part in the arrangement. Several senior officers of the SFHQ-KLN attended the final phase of the tournament.
