Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army & Head of the National Operational Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) in a wide ranging interview with Mr Santosh Kumar, Special Correspondent for All India Radio & Doordarshan news on Wednesday (15) at the Army Headquarters summarized the roles, being fulfilled by the armed forces for the arrest of COVID-19 transmission in Sri Lanka.
