Two newly-completed stories in a proposed five-storied building of the 'Ranaviru' Apparels (RVAPL) Factory at Alawwa as the first phase of an overall construction plan were opened by Major General Manjula Manathunga, Commandant, RVAPL on Tuesday (4) during a simple ceremony.
4 Corps of Engineer Service Regiment troops erected the building under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Chaminda Thibbotuge, Factory Manager at Alawwa with a view to further expanding the project.
RVAPL at Alawwa is run by physically-handicapped 238 War Heroes of the Army and produces uniforms, accessories, etc needed for serving soldiers.
Major General Manjula Manathunga, Commandant, RVAPL who attended the occasion together with his Deputy Commandant opened the new floors in the proposed building at the auspicious minute after cutting a ribbon. A brief religious ceremony blessed the occasion.bridgemedia | Men Nike Footwear
