With a view to assisting students who are expected to appear for the forthcoming G.C.E A/L exam 2018 in August, troops of the 613 Brigade under the areas of the 61 Division and the SFHQ-Wanni launched a three-day seminar at M/ Periya Pandipirichchan Maha Vidyalaya during 18 - 20 July.
61 Division Commander gave his support for the project.
36 students were benefited due to this arrangement. Question papers on Tamil language, Hindu culture, Geography, Accounting, Economics and Business studies were taken up for discussion.
The seminar was organized on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 61 Division Headquarters, Brigadier Jayampathi Thilakarathne, by the 613 Brigade.
