Air Mobile Brigade Commemorates its 29th Anniversary

Troops of the Air Mobile Brigade of the 53 Infantry Division of the 1 Corps celebrated their 29th anniversary during 29 April-01 May.

The Air Mobile Brigade Commander, Brigadier A.G.S.M Perera RWP RSP USP was saluted in a Guard Turnout at the entrance to the Brigade Headquarters on Saturday (April 29) before he took part in a tree planting programme where 29 saplings were planted to commemorate the anniversary.

After a while, Brigade Commander addressed all ranks and joined an all rank lunch at the Corporals' Mess.

Joining spiritual segments, a ‘Dharma Deshana’ and an alms- giving on the following day got underway to transfer merits on fallen War Heroes and invoke blessings upon all serving soldiers.
