Afghanistan Envoy Calls on Commander of the Army

Charge D’ Affairs of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Colombo, HE Muhammad Munir Ghiasy paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva this afternoon (6) at the latter’s office at the Army Headquarters.

Commander of the Army and HE Muhammad Munir Ghiasy exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest and other developments in the region as well as existing relations between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka at different levels.

The cordial meeting culminated with exchange of mementoes as symbols of goodwill and friendship.
