Adjutant General Reviews Colombo Army Hospital's New Construction Site & Admin Affairs

Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe, Adjutant General of the Army on Wednesday (30) with the objective of assessing the progress of the new 15-storeyed building in the Colombo Army Hospital compound and inspecting the hospital's routine administrative and operational procedures.

During this visit, the Adjutant General assessed the operational aspect in the Colombo Army Hospital and visited the construction site, together with the Director General Army Health Services - Brigadier Chrishantha Fernando, Director - Army Medical Services, Brigadier K.P.N Pathirana, Director Management and Maintenance of Army Hospital Colombo - Brigadier Jude Perera and a few senior officers.

The new construction was initiated on a concept proposed by the Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva, intending to expand the medical facilities further in accordance with the Army 'Way Forward Strategy 2020-2025'. During his stay, the Adjutant General inquired into the maintenance aspects of the hospital after a separate meeting at the Hospital premises.
