The Armoured Corps Training Centre (ACTC) in Kalattewa concluded another ‘Par Excellence Workshop’ course during 16 - 20 October 2023.
19 young Officers under the guidance of Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) took part in the arrangement.
The workshop consisted of lectures on Officering, Regimentation, Discipline, Social Etiquette, Leadership, Officers Career Progression and Sri Lankan War History. The Commandant of ACTC, Commanding Officers of SLAC units, Chief Instructor of ACTC and Senior SLAC Officers conducted the lectures.
The workshop culminated with a Mess Night held in the presence of Major General W.P Kariyawasam, Commandant of Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) as the Chief Guest together with a group of invitee Officers of SLAC.
