Bringing New Year spirits to the Anuradhapura 'Abhimansala-1' wellness resort, the Directorate of Rehabilitation of the Army Headquarters took steps to hold a special Sinhala and Tamil New Year festival, a musical evening and a soft ball cricket tournament in the 'Abimansala-1' premises on 18 April 2023.
The Commandant of the 'Abhimansala -1', Brigadier D.M.K Chakrawarthi RSP as the Chief Guest joined the festivities in the company of differently-able War Heroes who are resident in the wellness resort.
War Heroes, Senior officers, officers, other ranks and staff members took part in the arrangement which culminated with a musical evening.
