9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (9 VIR) troops of the 573 Infantry Brigade under the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu organized a free vegetable Rice Eatery (Dansela) on Poson Poya day (June 03) in front of the camp premises in Malayalapuram.
This was initiated under the guidance of Major P.G.T Sooriyasena, Commanding Officer of 9 VIR and Brigadier S.W.R Prasanna RWP RSP USP, Commander of 573 Infantry Brigade. Colonel G.A.D.K.G Ganegoda RSP USP psc, Commander of 571 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were among those present at the inauguration of the event.
