9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops provided a lunch treat for disabled inmates residing at ‘Sahana Sewana’ rehabilitation and training center located in Seruwawila on Wednesday (17 January). This initiative was undertaken in commemoration of the pioneering Officers of the Battalion and to honour the memory of all the War Heroes who valiantly sacrificed their lives for the country.
Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade graced the occasion as the chief guest. Commanding Officer, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
