Under the guidance of Major C.D.P Jayathilaka RWP RSP, the Commanding Officer of the 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, a picnic was organized from 28 August 2024 to 30 August 2024 for the civil employees and their families of the Battalion.
The picnic included visits to several locations: Seruvila Temple, the Navy Museum in Trincomalee, the Orr’s Hill Army Museum, and a boat ride at the Trincomalee Navy base. The event concluded with a dinner arranged for the participants.
