8 SLNG Celebrates Its 16th Anniversary

Giving prominence to religious observances and military formalities, the 8 Sri Lanka National Guard (8 SLNG) troops in Thirukkovil on Tuesday (15 August) marked its 16th anniversary, following instructions given by the Commanding Officer, 8 SLNG, Major S. Deniyaya.

Moreover, an inter-company sports meet and few entertainment programmes were launched to enhance the camaraderie among the staff and provide a difference to their monotonous duty roles.

The Commanding Officer, Second in Command, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the progarmmes.
