7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (7 VIR) troops serving the Security Force HQ -Jaffna on Saturday (Aug 19) cleaned the surroundings in the Amman Kovil compound in Kovilkudueruppu, ahead of its annual festival.
This was arranged under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 7 VIR with the intention of enhancing goodwill and harmony that prevails between the Tamil community and the troops.
Officers and Other Ranks of the7 VIR took part in the programme.
