The 7 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) celebrated its 8th anniversary on 19 December with a series of events.
To coincide with the event, religious observances, ceremonial military formalities and entertainment features were held during 12 - 19 December under the guidance of the Commanding Officer - 7 SLCMP, Major L.G.L.B Gunarathne psc Lsc.
Anniversary events began with a Bodhi Pooja and a Dhamma preaching held to shower blessings on all Army personnel. The military ceremonials with a Guard Turnout to the Commanding Officer took place on 19 December 2023, the anniversary day.
A group photograph and the customary all rank lunch brought the anniversary events to an end.
