7 SLAWC Hosts Women's Day Program at 51 Infantry Division

The 7 Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps (7 SLAWC) organized a special Women's Day program at the 51 Infantry Division on 08 March 2024, under the guidance of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J).

The event featured a mix of activities, including a volleyball tournament, arts competition and handy crafts competition.

Major General S.W.B Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The day culminated in the presentation of special gifts to the tournament winners, and certificates were awarded to all participants, highlighting the celebration of women's achievements and contributions.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks took part in the event.
