Troops of the 7 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment with the support of some donors in the area organized a programme to distribute dry ration packs among several needy families in Rotawewa and Minneriya areas in Polonnaruwa district on Tuesday (20).
The project was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 7 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Priyanath Karawita, with a view to supporting the livelihood of those selected families in the area.
Commanding Officer, Officers and Other Ranks of 7 SLA joined the programme after visiting doorsteps of those recipients.
