7 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) marked its 36th Anniversary under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 7 SLA.
As part of the celebrations, a sharamadana campaign was conducted on 31 October 2024 at the Minneriya tank area and along the A11 Habarana - Batticaloa main road, from Rotawewa junction to the camp premises. On 7 November 2024, an Inter Company Cricket tournament was held, followed by religious observances on 8 November 2024, which included a Flag Blessing at Minnneriya Dewalaya and a Bodhi Pooja at the camp premises to invoke blessings for the Battalion.
On 10 November 2024, the Commanding Officer was accorded a Battalion parade. He then planted a sapling in the camp premises, followed by a group photograph and an All-Ranks lunch. The series of events concluded with a get-together on 11 November 2024.
