18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) troops of the 682 Infantry Brigade of the 68 Division under the Security Force HQ-Mullaittivu with sponsorship, provided by Canthus Management Services Private Limited gave away a stock of school bags and water filters to underprivileged families during a brief ceremony, held on Saturday (12) at Pudukudiriyppu Divisional Secretariat auditorium.
682 Brigade Commander, Colonel Chaminda Galappaththi on the directions of the General Officer Commanding, 68 Division Brigadier Upali Rajapaksa organized this free distribution of 64 school bags and 20 water filters among deserving children and families in the area with the sponsorship, made available to the 682 Brigade by those above-mentioned donors.
Pudukudiriyppu Thevipuram Tamil school children and deserving families in the area were the recipients of those accessories.
