In response to a request from the Principal of Anandapuram Government Tamil Mix School, troops of the 68 Infantry Division donated a stock of tables and student chairs to be used by teachers and children on Friday (12 Jan) at the school premises.
Major General S. Kasthurimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 68 Infantry Division, took the initiative to make the donation, and the troops built the furniture using locally supplied materials.
The Commander of the 681 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present during the occasion.
