68 Division Bids Farewell to its Outgoing GOC

The outgoing General Officer Commanding, 68 Division, Major General Jagath Rathnayake was saluted in accordance with military traditions during a formal farewell, held at the Headquarters 68 Division premises on Friday (17).

A Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour parade in the parade square at 68 Division HQ honoured the outgoing General Officer Commanding, 68 Division. At first, he posed for a group photo at the HQ premises. The outgoing General Officer Commanding, 68 Division, Major General Jagath Rathnayake in his address to the troops thanked All Ranks for the generous assistance and support, extended to him during his tenure.

An all rank tea culminated the day’s proceedings. He also did not forget to leave his signature in the visitors’ book prior to his exit.
