Troops of 651, 652 and 653 Brigades of the 65 Division under Security Force Headquarters -Kilinochchi carried out a few CIMIC Projects in respective area during 11-13 August.
Troops of 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment of the 651 Brigade organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the Kariyalanagapadduwan Fisheries Society premises and Kariyalanagapadduwan Virawan Kovil premises as those areas were highly polluted. Troops of 7 SLNG of the 652 Brigade meanwhile organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the Akkarayankulam Pullayar Kovil premises.
In the meantime, troops of 17 (V) SLLI of the 653 Brigade conducted a Shramadana campaign to clean the Ayurvedic Center premises at Thunukkai. More than 40 Army troops and civilians took part in the said Shramadana projects.
