65 Division HQ Salutes Their Outgoing GOC

The outgoing General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 65 Division Major General Hemantha Bandara was honoured on Monday (07) at 65 Division Headquarters premises in Thunukkai during a formal farewell ceremony.

Troops of the 19 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry presented a Guard Turn out and a Guard of Honour upon his arrival at the Headquarter premises after he was extended a warm welcome by Senior Officers. The outgoing General Officer Commanding of 65 Division addressed the troops gathered, and thanked all ranks for the generous assistance and support, extended to him during his tenure.

The day's simple programme culminated with an all rank tea.
