65 Division troops under command to the Security Force HQ- Kilinochchi added their share to the commemoration of the Poson festival – 2020 under the guidance of Major General D.M.H.D Bandara, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division on Friday (5).
A colourful replica of the 'Missaka Pauwwa' and colourful lanterns adorned the main entrance to the Division Headquarters before the day was made more meaningful by screening the popular Buddhist film, “Paththini” as dusk fell.
It was organized in order to break the monotonous routine work of the troops while paying special consideration to health guidelines and maintaining social distancing.
Meanwhile, Forward Maintenance Area HQ of the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu put up a Poson zone around it and displayed Poson lanterns.
