6,436 Persons Still in Quarantine-NOCPCO

As of this morning (4), a total of 628 including one expatriate and 402 locally-identified majority from Colombo, 66 from Gampaha and 35 from Rathnapura were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (4), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 22,484. Meanwhile, 15,624 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from both Minuwangoda (3,059) and fish market (19, 425) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

Up to yesterday (3), a total of 26,037 persons have been confirmed COVID-19 positive from all over the country, including the dead. 19,031 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 6,877 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

In the past 24 hours by this morning (4), 728 persons recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. To-date, 129 COVID-19 positive deaths have been reported. Yesterday’s 05 deaths were from Colombo 10, Kolonnawa, Colombo 12, Colombo 2 areas.

By this morning (4), the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 45 passengers, the flight UL 230 from Kuwait with 295 passengers and the flight UL 455 from Japan with 5 passengers have arrived in Colombo. They all were referred to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (4), 6,436 persons in 59 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (3), 13,632 PCR tests were carried out. url clone | GOLF NIKE SHOES
