The 642 Infantry Brigade launched a dengue prevention programme at the Oddusuddan Regional Hospital on 09 April 2024 under the direction of Major General M.S Devapriya USP ndc, the General Officer Commanding, 64 Infantry Division.
The programme was initiated on the request of hospital authorities. Troops of 23 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 5 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and a group of civilians took part in the programme.
