Under the guidance of Major General M.S Devapriya USP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of 64 Infantry Division, a vegetable bun and tea dansala (free giveaway) was organized on 23 May 2024 in front of the 64 Infantry Division, coinciding with the Vesak festival.
Additionally, Vesak lantern decorations, many of which were created by the 641 and 642 Infantry Brigades, were inaugurated in connection with the commencement of Vesak. A large number of civilians living around the Oddusudan area attended to witness the Vesak Zone.
Senior Officers, their spouses, Officers and Other Ranks participated in this charity event.
