64 Infantry Division, in collaboration with HQ 642 Infantry Brigade, organized a blood donation campaign at the 64 Infantry Division Headquarters on 06 May 2024. This initiative was undertaken at the request of the Mullaitivu General Hospital Blood Bank to address the critical need for blood in the area.
The program, conducted under the guidance of Major General M.S Devapriya USP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of the 64 Infantry Division. A total of 104 Army personnel from various Battalions and Brigades gave their assistance to successfully conduct this programme. Their contributions helped replenish the much-needed blood supply in the area.
