64 Division Buys Farmers' Vegetable Stocks at Reasonable Price

Troops of the 64 Division under the Security Force HQ-Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) in consultation with District/Divisional Secretariats and the Army HQ assisted Mullaittivu farmers by buying their vegetable harvests on Monday (20).

As a result of several rounds of previous discussions, held at the 64 Division HQ, the Commander, Security Forces-MLT Major General Deepthi Jayathilake initiated the gesture and bought 1304 kg of brinjals and 217 kg of pumpkin each kilo at Rs 30.

641 Brigade troops and 642 Brigade troops of the General Service Corps bought both those varieties separately. Troops despatched the harvest for consumption of villages in remote areas as relief. Sports brands | Nike
