A family of philanthropists from Ja-ela in close coordination with the 621 Brigade Headquarters of the 62 Division in the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) gifted shoes, school bags books, stationery and other realia to 23 under-privileged students at Herath Halmillewa Vidyalaya at Kebehigollewa during a programme organized on Friday (22).
Mrs Mali Perera and her family members from Ja-ela in response to a request of the Commander, 621 Brigade contributed to the project. This school with 23 students has only 5 classes (Grade 1-5).
Director of Education for Kebithigollewa, Commanding Officer of the 17 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG), Brigade Staff Officers and a few Senior Officers, together with representative donors took part in the humanitarian social service project.
