The renovated Gymnasium and the new Dental Unit at the 62 Division Headquarters in Galkulama was opened to the All Ranks on Tuesday (14). Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni as the Chief Guest unveiled a plaque and inaugurated both units.
The General Officer Commanding was received by the Colonel General Staff of the 62 Division on arrival at the location. After the simple opening, he had a look at both buildings, together with a few Officers at the 62 Division HQ.
This Dental unit fulfils the requirements of all the troops under command to 62 Division and it is much helpful to conduct Dental clinics for regular Dental checkups and surgeries for under command troops and the gymnasium fully -equipped Fitness Centre with fat machines, body shaping, bodybuilding and muscle maintenance tools and many other accessories.
