Major General Boniface Perera, Commander Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Thursday (22) declared open a new classroom with educational facilities at the “Ranaviru Piyasa” village, Sampathnuwara, commencing a new educational programme called “ Nana Pahana”.
This programme was launched to enhance the knowledge of school children of low income families in the area. Several teachers of the area would support these children to understand information, related to subject matters by using CDs.
Troops of the 62 Division of the SFHQ-W took initiatives in organizing this programme.
