School accessories containing school books, bags and stationeries were distributed among 75 students in Veherathenna, Kambiliwewa, Kohombagaswewa and Koonwewa villages during a brief ceremony, organized by the 62 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ - W) in Veherathenna on Saturday (4).
With the financial assistance of Mr. Jitendra Gunerathne, Chairman, Ceylon Cold Stores, President of the Consumer Foods Sector, John Keels Hotels and Mrs Tennakoon, the distribution was organized under the coordination of Brigadier K. G. D. Perera, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division.
Mr. Jitendra Gunerathne, Mrs. Tennakoon and their family members, General Officer Commanding – 62 Division, 623 Brigade Commander and senior officers attended the occasion.
