The new office building complex and the basketball court in the 61 Division premises was opened in the 61 Division Headquarters premises on Wednesday (21).
It was opened by Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, Security Forces – Wanni (SF-W) at the invitation of the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 61 Division.
All General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, officers and other ranks serving the 61 Division attended the opening ceremony.
The new building facilitates the quick management of administration and related matters, pertaining to all ranks.
