The project that offers scholarships to parentless students in schools situated in the 61 Division under the Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) continues for the benefit of student community with the support of donors and other supporters.
On Wednesday (25), Brigadier A. Kariyakarawana, General Officer Commanding, 61 Division visited Kalmadu Vidyalaya and Paranaddukallu Vidyalaya and offered two more scholarships to two students in the Year 1 and Year 6 classes.
Brigadier Kariyakarawana was accompanied to the respective schools by Brigadier K.G.D Perera, Commander, 611 Brigade and several other officers for the award of scholarships.
