Troops of 6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (6 SLAC) arranged an all-night pirith chanting ceremony on 10 March 2024, with the intention of invoking blessings upon fallen heroes and serving troops of the unit. The ceremony took place at 6 SLAC under the guidance of Lieutenant Colonel S.U.B. Pilimatalawe psc, the Commanding Officer of 6 SLAC.
During the event, members of the Maha Sangha conducted a dhamma sermon, invoking blessings for the organization, injured and fallen War Heroes and their families.
Additionally, the troops conducted an almsgiving for 10 members of the Maha Sangha on the following day.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks took part in the event.
